Courtney Crumrin Comes To Life

One of the things I’ve been most excited about this year is that Kirsten, Dyami, Josh and I are getting to put together so many unique and exciting events with the help of some of the best comic book folks on the planet. We have an incredible line-up this year for Isotope’s Noise Pop Invasion… Templesmith! Silady! Hall! Dyer! Martin! Cagle! Luce! Many More!

But few 2011 events have ignited my sense of wide-eyed wonder more than this one… Courtney Crumrin Live!

Author/artist Ted Naifeh is bringing his award winning series of spooky graphic novels from Oni Press to life on a Noise Pop stage this coming weekend as a full-scale olde timey radio play production. Featuring the insanely talented Star St. Germain as Courtney, Ted’s dapper team of vocal artists, and the amazing string-informed neo-electric-skiffle band This Can’t End Well. Be there for the very first Courtney story with voice actors/live foley, hilarious fictional commercials, and gorgeous visuals by Mediapathic.

You’re not going to want to miss this!
