More than just a comic book store, the Isotope proudly represents the bleeding edge of comic retailing modernism. Recognized throughout the comics industry and beyond as the first of its kind, combining a comic store, an original comic art gallery, an active workshop/meeting place for creative individuals, and a relaxing get-away from the pressures of life. With a swank lounge atmosphere usually reserved for the most expensive of night spots, guests at the Isotope chill out in high style with a graphic novel in hand on custom leather sofas and kick back for a quiet read on ample seating.

You want to find nice people and a gorgeous environment to discover sequential art newness that makes you fall in love with comics all over again. We want that too.

It's all about the comics

It doesn't matter if it’s a “hot 100” book or the xeroxed comic from the creator down the street… here at the Isotope we don't care about labels, we just love the comics. Our staff adores finding new titles, unearthing new creative teams, and keeping up with our favorite on-going series.

The Isotope carries a wide variety of comic titles, with a focus on graphic novels and hand-printed minis you can't find anywhere else. We proudly display great comics all over the store and take great pride in supporting independent, small press and self published comics, as well as our beloved mainstream titles. Ask us, we're sure to help you discover something new you'll love.

RECOGNITION
People like what we do and we like what people do.
The Isotope Award
for excellence in mini-comics

In recognition of up-coming talent in the comic industry, the Isotope presents this annual award to those exceptional individuals whose achievements in the mini-comic artform are nothing short of spectacular.

There can be no greater honor than to see winners of this award go on to greater recognition, from Harvey awards to Eisner Award nominations to eventual publication deals for all. There truly is nothing better than to have gotten to be the first to introduce the industry to creators like Joshua Cotter, Danica Novgorodoff, Will Dinski and Daniel Merlin Goodbrey.
