    This is beautiful! What a grauefcl way of telling stories you have. There’s heartbreak and lost hope, but there’s no slit-my-wrists maudlin wallowing. The heroine sheds tears of despair, but lets the swan, once her love, go without so much as a please stay she knows how useless it would be. She heads back into her empty life with chin high, and we the readers admire her for it. What a great, great story!
